Alexandria Police Release Video of Bradlee Bank Robbery [Watch VIDEO]

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The Alexandria Police Department has released video of the suspect they say robbed the Wells Fargo Bank in December at Bradlee Shopping Center in Alexandria.

The robbery took place Friday afternoon, Dec. 16. The suspect is described by the FBI as a black man, approximately 5’10” to 6' tall with a large build, 35 to 40 years old, weighing between 200 to 220 pounds. He was wearing a grey and black coat, blue jeans, grey and white tennis shoes, and a dark gray or black baseball cap with a blue logo.

Police say he walked into the bank at about 2:05 p.m., passed a teller a note demanding cash and implied he had a weapon. Police sent out an alert about the robbery that day at 2:36 p.m. Police ask that anyone with information about this incident call Detective Michael Whelan at 703.746.6228.
